After the ride, we will tally all funds raised and distribute them as follows:

50% of the total donations will be donated to Carrie’s Beanies 4 Brain Cancer for The Brain Cancer Centre.

Their internationally renowned research team is dedicated to pioneering innovative treatments that offer hope for patients facing one of the deadliest forms of cancer.

By supporting the centre, your donation directly contributes to cutting-edge research that aims to unlock new therapies, accelerate clinical trials, and ultimately transform brain cancer treatment outcomes for future patients.

The remaining 50% will go directly to Daniel to help cover the significant out-of-pocket expenses incurred over the past two years, which currently total over $200,000.

These expenses include private health insurance premiums, trial medications sourced internationally, radiation therapy, weekly treatments at a private infusion centre, gap payments where Medicare does not provide full coverage, specialist genomic and molecular testing, specialist imaging, as well as domestic and international consultations with leading neuro-oncology specialists, conferences, and associated membership fees.
